There are worse places to be this weekend...

This weekend is going to be great. Sea and Vines Festival hits McLaren Vale, National Series Cyclocross hits Adelaide and the Fat Tyre Festival hits Melrose, so no matter where you are around Adelaide it's going to be a blast.

But, it's not all cheery news and happy happy joy joys, at this point we are totally booked out of hire bikes for the long weekend.

And on that note, as usual we will not be trading on Monday June 10.

Saturday Roadies, bit of a change of plan this week due to some big road race thing happening in McLaren Vale... Will start at 7am (6:50 meet) at Home Grain Bakery on Old Coach Rd in Aldinga (yes they do good coffee) , then one hour via the Esplanade to McLaren Vale. 8am McLaren Vale depart for (hopefully if traffic marshalls allow) quick blast up Old Willunga Hill to finish back in the Vale at 9am. No Bike Hire Thursday or Friday

Due to the extreme weather forecast we will not be offering casual bike hire on Thursday or Friday.

We've just put our first Specialized Roubaix on the floor. Our feeling is that these are the best road bikes for local conditions. Social MTB Ride 17 June- Prospect Hill

Join us in the forest for a casual group ride through some of the regions' best Mountain Bike singletrack and forest trails at Prospect Hill on Sunday 17th June at 10am.

Anyone with some Mountain bike experience is welcome to join us. The pace will be fairly relaxed, and the group will stop along the way to regroup. The start is at the trail head and carpark on Brookman Connor Road.

Australia Day Closed and New Stock

Just another reminder that we will be closed this Thursday 26th January for Australia Day.

Love Velo, Tour Down Under and Aus Day happenings

We're all geared up for the Love Velo event tonight, and Tour Down Under Start in McLaren Vale tomorrow.

Love Velo, is an event organised by Onkaparinga Council with local food and wine producers as well as other local business' such as us. Its on tonight at 5-9pm at the Mclaren Vale Visitor Centre.

For tomorrow, the Stage start rolls out of town at 11am, with road closures from 6am till 12:30. Come by and watch the action, mingle with the teams and watch the preparations for the start of the Queen stage of the TDU.

As a result of all the business, we've had to cancel our regular Saturday morning bunch ride for this week. We'll be back on next week, so see you there.

Finally, we're closing for Australia Day on Thursday the 26th of January.
